Accessibility Statement

Draft for legal review — Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Introduction and Commitment

TapTrade ("TapTrade," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to making the TapTrade website and related mobile applications (together, the "Service") accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to provide a usable experience for as many people as reasonably possible, including users of assistive technologies.

This Accessibility Statement describes our accessibility goals, the standards we follow, features available in the Service, known limitations, and how to contact us with feedback or requests for assistance.

2. Scope

This Statement applies to the TapTrade website at https://taptrade.site and related mobile applications we operate. It covers public marketing pages, account and map experiences, listings (items, events, and wishes), in-app messaging, and related settings where we control the interface.

It does not cover third-party websites, apps, or services that we link to or embed, or content uploaded by users outside our control (for example, listing photos or text that other users post).

3. Conformance Standards

We design and develop the Service with the goal of conforming to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target is intended to meet or exceed the expectations commonly applied under:

  • Israel: Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and regulations on service accessibility; Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA)
  • United States: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance for web content, with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a widely recognized benchmark
  • European Union / EEA: European Accessibility Act (EAA) and EN 301 549, which reference WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web and mobile content

Conformance is an ongoing effort. Parts of the Service may not yet fully meet every success criterion at all times. Where we are aware of gaps, we describe them below and welcome reports so we can improve.

4. Accessibility Features

Depending on the client (website or mobile app), the Service offers accessibility controls such as the following. These are available options; we do not claim that every page or screen fully conforms at all times:

  • Skip links to main content, navigation, and search
  • Keyboard navigation support for primary interactive flows
  • Enhanced focus indicators
  • High contrast mode
  • Large text mode
  • Reduced motion preferences (including respect for system reduced-motion settings)
  • Text-to-speech controls for supported content
  • Screen reader announcements for important status updates
  • Right-to-left (RTL) layout support for supported languages
  • Language selection across supported locales
  • In-product accessibility settings on the website, including for guests on marketing and legal pages

Availability of a given control may depend on the platform (web vs. native mobile) and device capabilities (for example, speech synthesis support).

5. Compatibility

The Service is intended to work with current versions of major browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation, on widely used desktop and mobile operating systems.

We do not claim universal compatibility with every assistive technology, browser extension, or older device. If you encounter a barrier with a specific combination of tools, please contact us with details so we can investigate.

6. Known Limitations

Some areas of the Service may present accessibility challenges, including:

  • Interactive maps: Map tiles, clusters, and map gestures may be harder to use with some assistive technologies. Search results and filters are the primary non-gesture way to browse listings on the map.
  • Contrast and text size assists: High contrast and large text modes are helpful controls; they do not guarantee full contrast success criteria on every screen or third-party surface.
  • User-generated content: Photos, descriptions, and other content posted by users may lack sufficient text alternatives or may use language that is difficult to understand. We encourage clear listings and continue to improve prompts and moderation where practical.
  • Third-party services: Authentication providers, payment processors, map providers, analytics tools, and similar vendors are governed by their own accessibility practices.
  • Live or rapidly changing views: Real-time map and chat updates may not always announce every change in a non-disruptive way.

If you need an accessible alternative for a specific feature or piece of content, contact us using the details below. We will work with you in good faith to provide a reasonable accommodation where feasible.

7. Feedback and Requests

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of TapTrade. Please tell us about barriers you encounter, missing text alternatives, keyboard traps, contrast issues, or any request for an accessible format or assistance.

Email: support@taptrade.site

Please include: (1) the page or screen URL or name; (2) a description of the problem; (3) the device, browser or app version, and assistive technology you used (if any); and (4) your preferred contact method.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five (5) business days and to provide an initial response or status update within fifteen (15) business days. Complex issues may take longer; we will keep you informed when that happens.

8. Accessibility Coordinator

For purposes of Israeli accessibility regulations and for multi-jurisdiction feedback, you may contact our accessibility coordinator as follows:

Organization: TapTrade
Role: Accessibility coordinator
Email: support@taptrade.site
Phone: Available upon request by email (we will arrange a callback)
Website: https://taptrade.site

Formal company registration details and postal address will be provided upon request and updated in this Statement when finalized.

9. Assessment and Updates

We assess accessibility through a combination of design reviews, automated axe checks on public routes, manual keyboard and screen reader testing, and user feedback. This Statement is reviewed periodically and updated when material changes occur to the Service or to our accessibility practices.

Last reviewed: August 10, 2026

This Statement is provided in good faith and does not constitute a formal third-party certification of full conformance. We continuously work to improve accessibility.

10. Related Policies

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Rules for using the Service are in our Terms of Service.
