What is TapTrade?
A map-based app for giving away and picking up free stuff and quality used items from neighbors nearby. You pin a photo on the map, chat in one tap and pick up the same day.
Is it free?
Yes. Listing, browsing and chatting are free.
Where does it work?
TapTrade launched in Israel, with dedicated pages for 19 cities including Tel Aviv-Yafo, Jerusalem, Haifa, Petah Tikva and Be’er Sheva. The map shows listings wherever people post them.
Which languages are supported?
Eight: Hebrew, English, Russian, Arabic, French, Spanish, Hindi and Chinese (Simplified), with right-to-left layouts for Hebrew and Arabic.
How is it different from Facebook “למסירה” groups or classifieds?
Instead of a feed where posts get buried, everything is on a map, so you see exactly how close an item is. Messaging is one tap, and there’s no haggling because the app is built around giving.
